Creating Economic Opportunities for Women in Film & TV Production
We are excited to announce the latest addition to our portfolio of nonprofit partners, Stockade Works, whose mission is to create economic opportunities for those who face the greatest barriers to employment through workforce development programs in film and television production.
Access and inclusion are at the core of Stockade Works’ mission. They believe that every individual should have opportunities for quality, well-paying jobs with avenues for growth, particularly women, people of color, veterans and those who are underemployed.
“Stockade Works is providing opportunities for members of marginalized communities to work and thrive in the coveted field and less accessible career path of working in film, television, and media. Through training and hands-on career exploration, they are transforming the lives of their constituents, helping individuals with little to no experience gain a foothold in the industry,” said Beth Bengtson, Founder, and CEO of Working for Women.
