Head Above Water Campaign by Working for Women Featured in Forbes
We’re honored to share that Working for Women and our recently launched Head Above Water campaign were featured in Forbes in Caroline Fairchild’s article, “The Workforce Crisis No One Is Calling a Workforce Crisis.” The piece highlights a reality millions of women are facing every day:
The piece highlights a reality too many women know well: having a job does not always mean having stability. Across the country, women are working, caregiving, and doing everything they can to stay afloat — yet still living one unexpected expense or disruption away from crisis.
That’s exactly why we launched Head Above Water.
This campaign was created to shine a light on the financial and emotional weight so many women carry while trying to maintain employment and support their families. It’s about making visible the gap between being employed and being economically secure, and calling for more support, understanding, and action.
We’re grateful to Forbes for helping elevate this important conversation and bring greater attention to the challenges women in the workforce continue to face.
