This week’s #WCW is Katie McCallie, Programs and Operations Manager of the Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga. The Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga executes initiatives directed toward social change to improve life for women and girls across the region. Through advocacy and philanthropy, they catalyze movement toward a just society that is safe, nurturing, and full of opportunity for women.
As a programs and operations manager, Katie’s work stretches from administrative support, ensuring that the basic operations of the agency are in order, to major donor cultivation and engagement. Katie’s ability to successfully balance the various hats she wears within the organization speaks to her passion for creating social change and helping women and girls all throughout the area.
Prior to joining the Women’s Fund, Katie served as an active member of the Board of Directors and a committed member of the collective philanthropic giving body, Nightingale Network. In this role, her contributions included leading the community-focused advocacy work as the chair of the Advocacy Committee, as well as providing critical feedback to inform the organization’s giving to local service providers. As mentioned from an organization member, “Our organization, volunteers, and entire network is better because of Katie’s dedication.”
We are honored to feature her this week as our Women Crush Wednesday.
