Latest Partnership Expands Reach to Chicago
We are excited to announce the latest addition to our portfolio of nonprofit partners, Women Employed, whose mission is to improve the economic status of women and remove barriers to economic equity. Located in the heart of Chicago, the team at Women Employed relentlessly pursues equity for women in the workforce by effecting policy change, expanding access to educational opportunities, advocating for fair and inclusive workplaces, and creating career pathways so that all women, families, and communities thrive.
“Women Employed has been working for over 45 years to ensure all women are treated fairly in the workplace, are respected for the work they do, and can attain the skills they need for the jobs they want. We are honored to work with them to grow the economic power of women”, said Beth Bengtson, Founder, and CEO of Working for Women.
Our first project together will be working to help them diversify funding sources and increase their capacity using the resources of our business members.
