Working for Women awarded a 3-day retreat at the Omega Institute’s prestigious Women Serving Women Summit

Omega institute is helping over 30 nonprofits keep their eye on their mission through retreat grants. The organizations invited are working across the spectrum of social, economic, and environmental issues. These retreats allow organizations to clarify priorities, deepen board connections, and provide renewed direction and energy. This marks the fifteenth year of the Nonprofit Retreats at Omega and it has served more than 5,000 people from more than 400 organizations since 2005. Working for Women is excited for this opportunity to join forces with other organizations.

Each organization will have 3-day/2-night self-led working retreat and will have access to the amenities on Omega’s 250-acre Hudson Valley campus. Doug Sauer, chief executive officer of the New York Council of Nonprofits (NYCON), Omega’s partner in the program said, “We hear time and time again from leaders and individual participants that the experience helped clarify priorities, enhance camaraderie, and enabled them to return to work with renewed direction and energy.”

Working for Women will be joining thirteen other organizations at the 2019 Women Serving Women Summit on May 29th – May 31st sponsored by the Omega Women’s Leadership Center.
