In announcing the formation of W4W, Founder Beth Bengtson said, “There are hundreds of businesses with leaders and team members who want to make a difference in the world and their communities. Through W4W, these people and companies can see their contributions make a direct impact on women’s lives. There is a renewed spotlight in many spheres of influence and industries on the advancement of women.  Is that spotlight reaching all women? We think not. W4W is committed to expanding opportunities for underserved women and girls.”

Specifically, W4W will:

  • Identify and vet nonprofits focused on empowering and elevating women to economic security
  • Work with these nonprofit partners to define projects that support their growth
  • Activate businesses committed to corporate social responsibility and empowering women in the workforce
  • Aggregate the financial and skill-based resources of those businesses to support the identified nonprofit projects
  • Report out on impact of their collective efforts
