“Money Talks” Launches to Build Financial Confidence and Generate Wealth for Women

New financial coaching program, “Money Talks,” kicks off with an empowering, community-first approach

Working for Women (W4W) is proud to announce the launch of Money Talks—a bold, new financial coaching program created in partnership with Jessica Perrone of Her Financial IQ. Designed for women ready to take control of their finances, Money Talks offers a supportive, no-judgment space to learn, grow, and build toward financial independence.

This program is tailored for women at all stages of their financial journey. Through monthly virtual learning groups and one-on-one coaching sessions with certified financial coaches—all women themselves—participants will gain essential financial skills in budgeting, saving, debt management, and investing. They will finish the program with a financial roadmap that is tailored to their specific needs and goals.

And there’s more than just learning: each participant who completes the program will receive $1,000— to be invested in line with their financial plan. From day one to graduation, the program is structured to inspire real change, foster community, and help women confidently move toward their financial goals.

“We wanted to create a space where women could talk about money without fear or shame. ‘Money Talks’ is about giving women the tools—and the freedom—to write their own financial story,” said Elizabeth Stanley, Program Director at Working for Women. “It’s not just about finances; it’s about reclaiming power and possibility.”

Highlights of the program include:

  • Monthly Learning Sessions: Interactive discussions on money attitudes, planning, debt, savings, credit, and investing.
  • Personalized Coaching: One-on-one support to meet each participant’s unique financial goals.
  • Her Financial Plan Workbook: A go-to guide for building and tracking personal financial strategies.
  • Peer Community and Check-Ins: Ongoing encouragement and connection with fellow participants.
  • Graduation and a Financial Plan: Developing a roadmap for their financial success and paving the way for wealth generation.

The first Money Talks cohort began on April 16th, 2025. Future sessions cover everything from financial mindset to planning your investing journey, culminating in a graduation celebration on November 5th.

This is more than just financial literacy. It’s a movement toward wealth generation and changing futures.
